Carpenter's almost Perfect Game

Wow, that was a great game to watch. When you get to watch a game that good you don't really care if you end up winning or losing. Just a pitchers duel. Fun, Fun, Fun.

We spent most of the weekend outside tending to the lawn and gardens. Yesterday Audra and I transplanted a grapevine that was growing wild in the empty lot next to us, and put it up near the house by the deck. Hopefully it will survive. There is also at least one more wild grapevine growing in that lot. We don't know how they got there and can't figure out how we've missed them the past couple of years. They are in plain view, and judging by the size of the plants and the root ball on each, they are probably a good 3-5 years old.

I tweaked my lower back on Saturday and didn't get to throw any horseshoes at all this weekend. That sucks, because I was really wanting to. Anyway, it has been feeling better each day, so hopefully it will be healed up in the next couple of days.
