They did it again

I got to catch the game from the seventh on last night. I know we got swept overt the weekend but it wasn't like we were playing bad ball or anything. Anyway, when will they learn that putting Albert on is no longer a no brainer? We have so many guys in this lineup that can do damage, you might as well let Albert get his solo or 2 run shot in, instead of letting Holliday or Rasmus make it a 3 run shot.

I love this team.

By the way, I really want to root for Motte, but can we get just a little more maturity and control, or is that too much to ask? 99 is great but 94 with precision control is much more effective.

I got to watch the last 2 innings last night which obviously included Hollidays 2 run shot. Man this team is exciting to watch. Hopefully they can pull off the sweep today. I so happen to have the day off and will be watching it. Yea!!!

10.5 GAME LEAD

I'm really trying not to get too excited. I wouldn't want to ruin anything you know. But, 10.5 games ahead on the 1st of September is damn good. Can we keep it rolling. I would love to watch some Cards in October again. We definitely have the talent, it's just a matter of all of us not jinxing them by noticing how well they're doing.

So don't get too excited yet.

By the way, Pujols hasn't even gotten HOT yet this second half. When that happens we can get excited. Because at that point, nothing will stop us...
